Learn more about Victory
Victory Baptist Church began in 1979 as a Bible-believing, Baptist Church. We remain Biblically fundamental in our doctrinal positions. Victory Baptist Church believes that the King James Version is the best English translation available; the reader can study and rely upon it with utmost confidence. We remain conservative and traditional in our worship practices. The church is located just outside the city limits of Darlington at 633 West Smith Avenue.
We provide a fully functional nursery with an exceptional staff of ladies for those with small children ages 3 and under. This is for the purpose of minimizing distractions during the preaching time.
Children meet in our Sunday morning services for Sunday School and Children’s Church.
The teens meet once a month together for encouragement at special activities. These special activities are times when they can have fun in a safe and clean environment.
Our men meet once every two months on the last Saturday to have a time of fellowship and encouragement from the Bible.
Our ladies have a ministry of sevice and encouragement called the Phebe Ministry, so named for Phebe in the book of Romans who was a great encouragement to the Apostle Paul. They meet once a month to discuss what areas of service they will be involved in and to encourage one another from the Bible.
Our over fifties group is called “Young at Heart” and exists for the purpose of encouraging and serving others.
Our music ministry consists of offertories, specials, and choir and is geared toward honoring God and preparing hearts to better receive the preaching of the Word of God.
